With prohibited some jurisdictions, female patients have few management options. In present review we summarise recent advances surgery evaluate potential alternatives slings particular focus degradable materials. Allograft xenograft demonstrate good yielded suboptimal cure rates. Tissue engineered outperform unmodified terms biomechanics cell support. Synthetic tissue show promising vitro future research should animal human trials this field.
